Meet Dr. Archie Morrison

Dr. Marco A. Chiarot, DDS, MD, MSc, FRCD(C)Following his retirement from 20 years of full-time clinical and academic practice at the Victoria General Hospital Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Halifax, Dr. Archibald "Archie" Morrison is now associating with Citadel Surgery.

Though Dr. Morrison probably needs no introduction, he was trained in Dentistry at Dalhousie University, worked in private practice for several years, and then completed his OMFS residency and Masters of Science in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery again at Dalhousie in 1992. He went on to do advanced fellowship training in Glasgow, Scotland before returning to the faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie and the Dept. of OMFS at the VG Hospital. He holds the position of assistant professor at Dalhousie University, Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Morrison has maintained a broad scope of practice, including implants, trauma, TMJ surgery, orthognathic surgery, and pathology, among other interests. He has been active over the years in research and extensively involved in organized dentistry, particularly in the  eld of OMFS at the national level. He has participated in numerous charity missions overseas primarily to treat patients with cleft lip and palate.
